Confidence is not "They will like me." Confidence is "I'll be fine if they don't.”

Children absorb the world around them to help make sense of things. Seeing the world through a child's eye opens the door for clarity and understanding of their challenges. It is my goal to completely understand the child's perspective, alongside the caregiver's, to provide the best all-around care. I focus my work with children on building healthy relationships, learning tools to manage stressors, and appropriately communicate and express emotions. Through methods such as Play Therapy, Art Therapy, CBT, and Behavioral Modification, I help children learn new ways to navigate their world. I believe family involvement is crucial for child therapy which is why I incorporate family members into the treatment with youth when appropriate.
